The Company was originally founded by the management team with over 20 years of experiences, consisting of management team, engineering staff and experienced telecommunication specialists who have experienced delivering the hi-speed communication network using optical fiber cables for its core network and provided the related services, e.g., last mile network management and installation. 2005
24 November, establishment of “SYMPHONY Communication Co., Ltd.”.
2006
  • Obtained the Telecommunication Service License Type II from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
  • Commencement of providing network service for data connectivity to enterprise customers in Thailand.
2008
Obtained the permission from the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) for the right of way to place fiber optic cables on electric poles of the MEA.
2010
  • Became “SYMPHONY Communication Public Company Limited”.
  • 26 November, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the industry group of Technology with the abbreviated securities name of “SYMC”.
2011
  • Obtained the Telecommunication Service License Type II to operate International Internet Gateway (IIG) and National Internet Exchange (NIX) services from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC)
  • Obtained the Telecommunication Service License Type III to operate International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) and IP – Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN) service
  • Expand service area to major business provinces, including industrial estates
  • Establish International Gateways in various regions to connect the Company’s network services to neighboring countries
2013
  • Obtained the Telecommunication Service License for the Internet Operation Type I.
  • Establishment of Diamond Line Services Co., Ltd.
2014
Obtained the extension scope of service for the Telecom Business License Type III for International Private Leased Circuit Service (IPLC) - Terrestrial Section by adding supplementary scope of International Private Leased Circuit Service (IPLC) - Submarine Section.
2015
Signed a joint investment agreement for the Malaysia-Cambodia-Thailand (MCT) submarine cable project with Telcotech Company Limited of Cambodia and Telekom Malaysia Berhad of Malaysia to construct an approximately 1,300-kilometer submarine cable network. This project aims to connect the company’s services to Cambodia and Malaysia and link to other submarine cable networks worldwide.
2017
  • Launching international network service via the MCT submarine cable system, which is Thailand’s first submarine cable system operated by private company.
  • Restructured shareholding of the Company's major shareholder, with TIME dotCom International Sdn Bhd in Malaysia acquiring shares through a partial tender offer from existing shareholders, resulting in a 46.84% ownership of the total issued and paid-up ordinary shares of the Company.
2018
  • Launched Direct Internet Service for enterprise customers.
  • Launched comprehensive Manage Service alongside with network service with 24/7 customer service center to monitor, analyze, and solve problems.
2020
  • Entered a joint investment with TIME dotCom Berhad, a strategic business partner from Malaysia, to establish AIMS Data Centre (Thailand) Limited for developing and providing data center services in Thailand.
  • Received the certification as membership of Thailand’s Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption (CAC).
2021
  • Invested to enhance efficiency of the main connectivity network by adopting SDN-MPLS (Next Generation Intelligent Software Define Network), the cutting-edge technology combining various automated network functions to elevating service quality to higher standards to comprehensively meet customer needs, while creating an effective and seamless technology experience for customers.
  • Achieved to pass the assessment and receive the certificate of ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which is the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and CSA-STAR (Cloud Security Alliance, Security, Trust & Assurance Registry), which is a cloud-based security standard.
2022
  • Obtained a permission from the NBTC to provide cloud computing service in Thailand under the Telecommunication Service License Type III.
  • Launched “SYMPHONY CLOUD” to provide cloud service to enterprise customers.
  • Launched Managed Cybersecurity Service to enterprise customers.
2023
  • Disposal of total investments in AIMS Data Centre (Thailand) Limited.
  • Achieved to pass the assessment and receive the certificate of ISO 22301, which is the international standard for Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
2024
Achieved “five-star rating” or “excellent” corporate governance scoring for the 5th consecutive year from the year 2020 from the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR) by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD) in collaboration with SET SEC.
